Join us for a 1-hour cooking class at the Cottage! Vera Stewart, host of The VeryVera Show and former Home Economics teacher, will be teaching a series of cooking classes this spring to help you gain confidence in the kitchen and gain valuable cooking skills!
Our March 15th class will teach you two great recipes for the Masters: VeryVera Pimento Cheese and Arnold Palmer cupcakes! Vera will walk you through the steps, and then you will have the opportunity to make them yourself! The class will end with the opportunity to taste your work well done and take the rest home to share! You will also have the opportunity to purchase a VeryVera Cookbook at half price during this class!

KC & The Sunshine Band

Harry Wayne Casey – KC for short – developed a unique fusion of R&B and funk, with a hint of a Latin percussion groove, giving us an impressive string of hits like “GET DOWN TONIGHT,” “THAT’S THE WAY (I LIKE IT),” and “SHAKE YOUR BOOTY.” With sales of over 100 million records, nine Grammy nominations, three Grammy Awards, and an American Music Award, KC and the Sunshine Band was one of the most progressive bands of the 70’s and is credited with changing the sound of modern pop music!

St. Patrick's Celebration & Parade

The parade is free and for all ages and begins at 2 pm from the 7th Street James Brown Arena parking lot. The Parade will take the traditional route to Telfair St., up to 11th, then turning right onto Broad Street, and then back down to 6th Street where we will return to the James Brown Arena Parking lot.
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins at 2 pm as is immediately followed by a FREE festival on the Augusta Common!! Friends With Benefits Production is thrilled to partner with the Irish-American Heritage Society and the City of Augusta for this family-friendly community event.

Fourth Annual Easter Egg Drop

The event will include thousands of treat-filled Easter eggs dropped from a ladder fire truck, inflatable bounce houses, refreshments, family-friendly activities and more. There will be a special section for children under 3-years-old. The first egg drop will take place at noon for children ages 4 – 8 years. At 12:30, the second egg drop will be held for children ages 9 – 12 years. The Annual Easter Egg Drop is free and open to the public.
Hip Hop Bunny Drop
